I Spy "Flip" Board Game: Blue Objects

Bring color learning to life with this playful I Spy Board Game Blue Objects Edition!

Kids will love racing to find bright blue objects, from butterflies and bears to balloons and blueberries, while building early learning skills like color recognition, visual discrimination, and vocabulary in one fun, easy-to-prep game.

This hands-on I Spy activity makes learning about colors feel like a game instead of a worksheet.

It’s perfect for preschool and kindergarten color-of-the-week lessons, speech therapy sessions, ELL groups, and even quick sub plans or indoor recess fun.

How to Play the Blue Objects I Spy Game

  1. Choose a game board and place it in the center for all players to see.
  2. Deal the image cards face down so everyone has a stack.
  3. On each turn, all players flip their top card at the same time.
  4. Race to find the matching blue object on the board!
  5. The first player to spot it wins a star token (or keeps the card as a point).
  6. Keep playing until all cards are matched. The player with the most tokens wins!

Independent Play Option: Students can use one board and flip through the image cards on their own, covering each match with a token. This is perfect for quiet literacy centers or early finisher activities.

Perfect For:

  • Small group centers and independent workstations
