  2. For counting practice: Provide cards during centers or small group time for kids to count bears and say the number aloud.
  3. To reinforce one-to-one correspondence: Have students touch each bear or place a manipulative on each one while counting.
  4. In matching games: Print two sets of cards to use as a memory or partner-matching game.
  5. To build a giant number line: Line the cards up on the floor and have kids walk or hop to each number as they count aloud.
  6. As take-home practice: Send black-and-white cards home for kids to color, count, and keep practicing with their families.

These counting cards are perfect for whole-group math warm-ups, small group instruction, morning tubs, partner games, or even for sub plans that need to be quick, engaging, and easy to prep.
